1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms & Disclaimer (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kin2Lume LLC (“Kin2Lume,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website, services, resources, and Personalized Caregiver Resource Plans.

By accessing or using the Kin2Lume website, submitting an intake form, purchasing a service, downloading a resource, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Nature of Kin2Lume Services

Kin2Lume LLC provides non-medical caregiver resource research, information, organization, and navigation support. Our services are designed to help individuals and families identify and better understand resources, programs, organizations, and services that may be relevant to their caregiving needs.

Kin2Lume may research and provide information about resources such as caregiver support, respite care, transportation, home-care resources, senior services, housing and community resources, meal assistance, disability resources, veteran resources, financial or community assistance programs, and other relevant services.

Kin2Lume does not provide medical care, nursing services, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, financial advice, insurance advice, mental-health treatment, case management, emergency services, or other licensed professional services through the Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan unless a particular service is expressly identified otherwise.

Information provided by Kin2Lume is intended for informational and resource-navigation purposes and should not be used as a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional, attorney, financial professional, insurance professional, government agency, or other qualified provider when such advice is needed.

If you are experiencing a medical or other emergency, call 911 or contact the appropriate emergency service.

3. Personalized Caregiver Resource Plans

Kin2Lume LLC offers Personalized Caregiver Resource Plans based on information provided by the client through our intake process. Each plan is prepared using the client’s stated caregiving needs, priorities, and location to research and organize resources that may be relevant to the client’s situation.

A Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan may include relevant organizations and programs, available contact information, publicly available eligibility information or guidance, and practical suggested next steps.

Kin2Lume makes reasonable efforts to provide useful and current information; however, programs, services, contact information, funding, eligibility requirements, waiting lists, availability, and other third-party information may change without notice.

Kin2Lume does not guarantee that a client will qualify for, be accepted into, receive funding from, or obtain services from any organization, agency, program, benefit, or resource identified in a Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan. Final eligibility and service decisions are made by the applicable third-party organizations.

Clients are responsible for reviewing information provided in their plan and contacting the appropriate organizations or qualified professionals when additional information, applications, professional advice, or services are needed.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing information that is accurate and reasonably complete so that Kin2Lume LLC can prepare resources based on the circumstances described in the intake form.

Clients should provide only the information reasonably necessary for Kin2Lume to perform the requested resource research. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, passwords, payment-card information, detailed medical records, or other highly sensitive information through Kin2Lume intake or contact forms.

Clients are responsible for independently reviewing information provided by Kin2Lume and confirming important details directly with the applicable organization, agency, program, service provider, or qualified professional before making decisions or taking action.

Clients are also responsible for completing applications, providing required documentation to third-party organizations, meeting applicable deadlines, and complying with the requirements of programs or services they choose to pursue, unless Kin2Lume has expressly agreed in writing to provide a separate service covering such assistance.

Clients agree not to misuse the Kin2Lume website or services, submit false or misleading information, interfere with website operations, or use Kin2Lume materials for unlawful purposes.

5. Pricing, Payment, Cancellations & Refunds

Prices for Kin2Lume LLC services are displayed on our website at the time of purchase. The current price for the Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan is $99 as a one-time fee, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Payment is due at the time of purchase and must be successfully processed before Kin2Lume begins preparing the purchased service.

Cancellation Before Research Begins: A client may request cancellation and a refund before Kin2Lume has begun personalized research or preparation of the client's Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan.

After Research Has Begun: Once Kin2Lume has begun personalized research or preparation of the client's plan, the purchase becomes non-refundable because the service involves individualized research, time, and work performed specifically for that client.

Duplicate or Billing Errors: If you believe you were charged more than once or an incorrect amount was charged, please contact Kin2Lume promptly at hello@kin2lume.com so we can review the transaction.

Unable to Complete the Service: If Kin2Lume determines that we are unable to provide the purchased service, we may cancel the order and issue an appropriate refund.

Refunds, when approved, will generally be returned through the original payment method, subject to the processing procedures and timelines of the applicable payment provider.

To request a cancellation or discuss a payment issue, contact hello@kin2lume.com and include the name and email address used for the purchase. Do not send payment-card numbers or other sensitive financial information by email.

6. Follow-Up Clarification

Each Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan includes one follow-up clarification within 7 calendar days after the completed plan is delivered to the client.

The follow-up clarification is intended to answer reasonable questions about information or resources already included in the client's Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan.

The follow-up clarification does not include preparation of a new resource plan, extensive new research, research for a different caregiving situation or individual, or services outside the original scope of the purchased plan.

Requests for follow-up clarification should be submitted to hello@kin2lume.com within 7 calendar days of delivery of the completed plan. Requests received after that period may require a new service or additional fee if further research is requested.

Kin2Lume may request additional information when reasonably necessary to understand a clarification request. Clients should not send highly sensitive personal, medical, or financial information by email.

Service Delivery Timeframe

Most Personalized Caregiver Resource Plans are delivered within 5–7 business days after Kin2Lume receives both the client's completed intake form and successful payment.

The delivery timeframe begins after both requirements have been received. If additional information or clarification is reasonably necessary to begin or complete the client's personalized research, the timeframe may be affected until the necessary information is received.

More complex research requests may require additional time. If Kin2Lume anticipates that additional time will be necessary, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the client using the contact information provided.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside Kin2Lume's reasonable control, including the availability of information from third-party organizations.

7. Third-Party Resources and Services

Kin2Lume LLC may identify or provide information about third-party organizations, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, programs, service providers, websites, and other resources that may be relevant to a client's caregiving needs.

These third parties operate independently from Kin2Lume. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Kin2Lume is not affiliated with, employed by, sponsored by, or acting as an agent or representative of the third-party organizations identified in a Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan.

Kin2Lume does not control and cannot guarantee the accuracy, availability, quality, pricing, funding, eligibility requirements, waiting periods, policies, services, actions, or decisions of third-party organizations.

Information about third-party resources may change after a plan is prepared. Clients should verify important information directly with the applicable organization before applying for a program, paying for a service, providing personal information, or making decisions based on that information.

The inclusion of a third-party resource in a Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement, certification, or representation that the resource will be appropriate or available for every client.

8. Accuracy and Availability of Information

Kin2Lume LLC makes reasonable efforts to research and organize information from sources we believe to be relevant and useful at the time a Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan is prepared.

However, resource information can change frequently. Program availability, eligibility requirements, funding, fees, contact information, application procedures, service areas, waiting lists, hours of operation, and other details may be changed by third-party organizations without notice.

Kin2Lume does not guarantee that all information will remain current, complete, or error-free after it has been researched or provided to the client. Clients should verify important information directly with the applicable organization before relying on it or taking action.

If a client identifies information in a recently delivered plan that appears to be incorrect or outdated, the client may contact hello@kin2lume.com so Kin2Lume can review the information. When applicable, this may be addressed as part of the client's included follow-up clarification.

9. No Professional Relationship or Guarantee of Outcomes

Use of the Kin2Lume LLC website, submission of an intake form, purchase of a Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan, or communication with Kin2Lume does not create a doctor-patient, nurse-patient, attorney-client, financial-advisor, insurance-advisor, social-worker-client, or other licensed professional relationship.

Kin2Lume provides resource research, information, organization, and navigation support. Clients should consult an appropriately qualified professional when medical, legal, financial, insurance, mental-health, or other professional advice or services are needed.

Kin2Lume does not guarantee any particular result or outcome from the use of our website, services, recommendations, or third-party resources. This includes, without limitation, approval for benefits or programs, receipt of funding, placement in services, availability of providers, reduction of caregiving expenses, or improvement in any medical, financial, housing, or personal circumstance.

Each client's circumstances are different, and results may depend on factors outside Kin2Lume's control, including decisions made by third-party organizations and changes in program availability or eligibility requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kin2Lume LLC will not be liable for losses or damages arising solely from a client's reliance on information that has been changed, discontinued, or made inaccurate by a third-party organization after Kin2Lume reasonably researched and provided the information.

Kin2Lume is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, decisions, services, availability, or conduct of third-party organizations, agencies, programs, service providers, or websites identified or referenced through our services.

Clients remain responsible for verifying important information with the applicable third party and for deciding whether a particular resource, program, or service is appropriate for their circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kin2Lume will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of our website or services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

Unless otherwise stated, the original content created by Kin2Lume LLC for its website and services—including written materials, graphics, branding, templates, guides, downloads, and the organization and presentation of Personalized Caregiver Resource Plans—is owned by or licensed to Kin2Lume and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Clients who purchase or receive Kin2Lume materials are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use those materials for their personal or household caregiving purposes.

Clients may print or save a reasonable number of copies of their Personalized Caregiver Resource Plan and other materials provided for personal use and may share relevant portions with family members, caregivers, or professionals involved in supporting the person for whom the resources were researched.

Kin2Lume materials may not be reproduced, republished, sold, commercially distributed, substantially copied, presented as another person's or business's work, or used to create competing commercial products or services without prior written permission from Kin2Lume LLC.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, publications, and materials referenced by Kin2Lume remain the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion in a resource plan or on the Kin2Lume website does not transfer ownership of those materials to Kin2Lume or the client.

12. Website Availability and Changes to Services

Kin2Lume LLC may update, modify, suspend, discontinue, or change portions of its website, services, resources, pricing, or service offerings from time to time.

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website and services available; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Website availability may occasionally be affected by maintenance, technical issues, internet or hosting disruptions, third-party service interruptions, security concerns, or circumstances outside Kin2Lume's reasonable control.

Changes to services or pricing will generally apply prospectively and will not alter the price of a service that a client has already purchased and paid for, unless otherwise agreed with the client or required by law.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Kin2Lume LLC website and services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal information.

By using our website or services, you acknowledge that personal information may be handled as described in the Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable law.

We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy before submitting personal information through the Kin2Lume website.

14. Changes to These Terms

Kin2Lume LLC may update these Terms & Disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, website features, or applicable requirements.

When these Terms are updated, we may revise the “Last Updated” date displayed at the top of this page.

Updated Terms will apply from the effective date of the revision. Changes will not retroactively alter the material terms of a service that was already purchased unless required by applicable law or agreed to by the client.

We encourage visitors and clients to review these Terms periodically so they remain informed about the terms that apply when using the Kin2Lume website and services.
